At Fannin Meadows RV Park in Blue Ridge, Texas, we’ve always believed that an RV adventure feels complete when your whole family comes along—pets included.
That’s why we’re proud to share one of our favorite recent upgrades: a brand-new dog park designed especially for our four-legged guests.
What were two old kennels have become a bustling, open area where pets are free to run, families can relax, and guests can socialize. This development indicates our continued effort to build one of the most hospitable and pet-friendly RV parks in North Texas.
From Kennels to a Canine Paradise
As we started to renovate the property in Fannin Meadows, we came across a property with several old dog kennel cages. They were reminders of the past—but they didn’t have a place in our plans for the future.
We envisioned something else for our guests and their pets—a setting that was wide open, welcoming, and alive.
So, we removed the kennels and rebuilt them. With local builders, we created a big, fenced dog park that allows dogs to experience the freedom they are meant to have and yet remain safe and secure.
Today, the new dog park has:
Safe fencing for peace of mind
Open grassy spaces for running, fetching, and play
Shaded seating where owners can sit and socialize
A warm atmosphere that promotes connection
The result? A friendly, vibrant space that has quickly become one of the park’s most popular spots.
